Dr. Fayad grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He studied BioMedical Physics at Wayne State University in Detroit. His love for science and helping others inspired him to pursue a career in medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. He then completed four years of post-graduate training at Ascension Oakland Macomb Hospital – Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Neurology Residency. His strong interest in cerebral-vascular disorders and stroke led him to pursue a 3-year fellowship in Vascular Neurology and Interventional Neuroradiology at the University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
