Dr. John Tejeda serves as Chief Operating Officer and Practice Administrator of Vascular and Neuroscience Institute, also known as Vascular Neurology of Southern California, effective December 1, 2025. John brings more than twenty years of distinguished healthcare leadership experience grounded in both clinical practice and executive administration. He began his career at the point of care as a Physician Associate with a specialty focus in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery, an experience that continues to shape his deep respect for clinical excellence, physician practice, and team-based care. John holds a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, a Master of Legal Studies, and a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration, and is board-certified with Fellowships in the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Academy of Physician Associates.
John’s career spans hospital and service line administration, physician organizations, clinical research leadership, and complex healthcare operations, with recognized expertise in strategic planning, healthcare economics, regulatory compliance, business and market development, quality improvement, and physician relations. Known as a highly collaborative, hands-on leader and trusted relationship builder, John is committed to fostering a culture of partnership, operational discipline, and continuous improvement in support of exceptional patient care, clinical innovation, and sustainable growth.
John is married to Kim and has four adult children and three French bulldogs. By aligning daily operations with long-term growth, John aspires to expand VNI’s continued reputation for clinical excellence, efficiency, and innovation across all California and Nevada sites.
